I found this dress at Salvation Army when I found my faux fur coat. It fits so well it’s creepy. ZERO alterations, fits just as it did when we found it. Not only that but when we went to the shoe section, the first pair my mother found were these perfect colored burgundy beasts. They are the most hideous shoes I own, but they are sort of perfect. I described it to a teacher/friend’s father and he said I should be a gangster moll but nobody knew what that meant so I just altered it to be a mobster’s girlfriend. I feel like a million bucks in the thing. My hair was perfect for school but earlier tonight for Sadie’s, the actual Halloween Dance, I just through it into a half up bun..simple, easy. Anyway. Here you go!

For my hair, I put in pin curls the night before, took them out, finger combed them and then straightened the top of my hair. Here it is before I straightened it:

pretty amusing, right? Then I straightened and twirled one side back and barretted it.
This is what it looked like after I took the barrette out at the end of the day.

All together, a success! I love Halloween. And I love this dress and I REALLY hope I get to wear it again. I know I’ll find a way.
