Fall 09 New York Fashion Week…sort of.

I fail at fashion. And I apologize. So here is Fall.

Vera Wang: I really doubt I could pull this off, but I love the mix of textures…the velvet is so luxurious, but the tights look like what could be regular tights that you might see a coal mine worker wearing in one of those paintings of the Industrial Revolution.

I love the depth of the color of this dress, but I am a little on edge about the corset waist…I think that could too easily turn into the “throw a belt around your waist and tada you are fashionable” thing…

These remind me of dresses that old ladies would wear to the opera, but SO much better.

And as usual I almost like what she wears out at the end better than anything else on the runway..

Can I just rave real quick about what a fabulous party dress this little Vivienne Tam piece is?

That;s all I have time for. Check out the other shows in that link at the end of my last post..

On a street style note, I TOTALLY CALLED IT. Grey is becoming, well, as he says not the new black, but definitely multiple shades of grey combined are a thing. Joy to me.
Bill Cunningham, will you be my best friend? Thanks.
